Hairstyles that suit each face shape, from angular types to pointed types

When you want to change your hairstyle, it’s important to consider not only ‘what I want’ but also ‘what suits me well.’ Making significant changes in length or dyeing with dramatic colors can sometimes make you feel like a different person because of the impactful change in hairstyle.

Take a look in the mirror and see what hairstyle suits my face shape!

1️⃣ An angular face shape
For an angular face shape, the key to styling is to divert attention away from strong contours. I recommend long waves with S-curls and layered cuts with side-swept bangs.

2️⃣ A round face shape
A round face exudes a lively atmosphere, but if there is excessive cheek fullness, it may appear overly circular. I recommend styling with an asymmetrical parting of 6:4 to 7:3, covering one side of the cheek to vertically disperse the gaze.

3️⃣ A long face shape
For a long face, it’s important to avoid directing the gaze vertically. Instead of emphasizing volume at the crown, I recommend adding volume at the sides and guiding the gaze horizontally with bangs.

4️⃣ An inverted triangle face shape
If you have prominent broads compared to a pointed chin, it can give off an excessively cold impression. I recommend softening the image with side bangs and voluminous, thick waves.
